Julien Fumey, Ph.D.

I’m a bioinformatician interested in evolution and population genetics.

I’m currently working on SARS-CoV-2 sequencing data at the Hub of Bioinformatics and Biostatistics at Institut Pasteur.

Previously I was a PhD student in population genomic in the Laboratory Évolution, Génomes, Comportement et Écologie (EGCE) in Gif-sur-Yvette, France. There I was studying genome evolution and cavefish.

I have been the President of the French Society for Computational Biology (SFBI) of the International Society for Computational Biology Student Council Regional Student Group France (RSG France - JeBiF).
